We are thrilled to announce that Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Winder – Team Pedro Sauer at Master Pattillo Martial Arts is officially an affiliate of Adopt a Cop BJJ.
It’s extremely important to me that our martial arts studio creates a significant, positive impact on our community. One way we can do that is to make sure our police officers who want to train in self-defense focused martial arts can do so.
Having worked primarily with kids for over 20 years, law enforcement was a population I didn’t expect to focus on. But getting to train with these men and women, I’ve gotten to know some of the challenges they face. Knowing the value of the martial arts and the effectiveness of Jiu-Jitsu – Adopt-a-Cop seemed like a great way for our studio to give back.
Adopt-a-Cop BJJ and Master Pattillo Martial Arts partner up to provide active patrol police officers with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for FREE. Cities nationwide are seeing the positive benefits of their officers training in Jiu-Jitsu.
Click here to see a stat sheet on the Marietta Police Department showing significant decrease in officer injury, officer use of force, and suspect injury. It’s a win-win.
